FC Augsburg has loaned out the 22-year-old offensive player Yusuf Kabadayi to HNK Rijeka in Croatia, where he is set to gain valuable playing time and international experience as the season has already started there. Sport director Benni Weber stated: 'The move to Rijeka gives Yusi the opportunity to gather more game experience. As the Croatian season has already commenced, he can immediately join the competition.' Additionally, the club is involved in the Conference League qualifiers.

Kabadayi comes from Bayern Munich's youth system and was transferred to FC Augsburg from Schalke 04 in 2024. Last season, he played on loan at Turkish top-flight side Gaziantep FK, where he appeared in 23 matches and scored one goal.

The Croatian club offers Kabadayi the chance to accumulate more playing time and continue his development. His contract with Augsburg runs until 2028.
