Augsburg unveils water-inspired away kit: Massengo's unique role
Augsburg's Han Noah Massengo leads campaign for new petrol-green away kit. Design reflects city's UNESCO water management heritage.
Augsburg unveils new water-inspired away kit Augsburg has launched a unique away kit celebrating the city's UNESCO water management heritage. Midfielder Han Noah Massengo (25) led the campaign and played a key role in its design. The petrol-green jersey with golden crest will be available in FCA stores from Thursday.
What makes the kit special? The design is inspired by the Wolfzahnau, where the Lech and Wertach rivers meet. Massengo selected models and accessories for photoshoots under the theme 'Where water flows, new perspectives emerge.' The look highlights sustainability and water management.
Why is Massengo involved? The Frenchman, who joined Augsburg from FC Burnley in 2025, has already shown his creative flair with a photo exhibition at the Ecke-Galerie. FCA boss Michael Ströll (42) says: 'The campaign is personal and tells the story from our player's perspective.'
When and where can you get the kit? The kit will be available online and in FCA stores from Thursday (10 AM) for €89.95. Augsburg finished 9th last season with 43 points and will face Bayern Munich on February 20, 2027.
