Augsburg's Austrian Training Camp Starts with Sensation
FC Augsburg has started its one-week training camp in Austria. Coach Manuel Baum is satisfied with the hotel and the team. "Really sensational, outstanding hotel", said Baum. 30 players have been nominated for the trip to the Achensee.
World Cup Players Join the Team
After the main squad had already been training for three weeks, World Cup players Michael Gregoritsch (Austria), Kristijan Jakic (Croatia) and Nathanaël Mbuku (DR Congo) have joined the team. The African striker was loaned out in the past two seasons.
Goal of the Training Camp
Coach Baum focuses on tactical training and team bonding in Austria: "What sets us apart in Augsburg: Team cohesion is an important value we want to experience."
