FC Augsburg has signed South Korean international defender Seol Young-woo. The 28-year-old joins from Red Star Belgrade, putting pen to paper on a contract until June 30, 2030, as the club announced on its official website on August 27. The transfer fee is reported to be up to €5.5 million including potential add-ons, according to the South Korean outlet Chosun. Seol Young-woo will wear the number 7 shirt for Augsburg.

The new arrival joins a team that started the Bundesliga season with a 3-0 home win over VfL Bochum, placing them fourth in the table with three points.
