Augsburg's Stätzlinger is the new leader in the Landesliga Südwest after five games. 13 points were collected by the team of trainer Raffael Semke and Miki Lopacanin - only against SC Olching did they give up a 2:2 point at home. "This is simply a beautiful snapshot that we have earned", said trainer Raffael Semke, who immediately pointed out: "Now we are the hunted and must add another chip to it." On Sunday, they will travel to Haunstetten to the district sports ground. There they will face Türkspor Augsburg. The Bayernliga-Absteiger recently suffered a 1:6 defeat at TSV Aindling. Semke: "Whoever knows their mentality, knows that they will not accept this again", he tuned his team for the difficult guest game. "We must not take a step slower, but must now add even more", he set his team up in the training sessions. At the 3:0 home success in the derby against TSV Gersthofen, Semke showed himself enthusiastic about the strong quality of the bench. "The kids were immediately on high speed and have additionally fueled our game", he praised his substitutes. On Sunday, Semke will set up the away game with a stable defense line. "The zero is our highest goal, because we are always dangerous from the front", he was pleased, "that we have always created good opportunities so far". This should also be the case against Türkspor. "They will certainly not make it easy for us", he set his dangerous striker line with Paul Iffarth and Mert Sert. Ten of the 13 goals scored so far were credited to the two attackers. There will be few changes in the squad. "There is no reason after the good appearances", said Semke. Only Robin Rösch will be missing from the squad, who has taken a two-week vacation. Against this, Türkspor has only managed to win one game, a 2:0 victory over TSV 1860 Weißenburg in their five appearances. The sports director Atila Ender attributes this to the big upheaval after the relegation from the Bayernliga. "Our team must first come together", he said recently with team leader Dominik Krachtus, Daniel Biermann and Hazem Ibrahim, only three Bayernliga-experienced players were available. "Our team wants to show a clear reaction against the leader and score points", the sports director goes with his young team to the task against the Stätzlinger with new momentum. Augsburg's Stätzlinger is currently in 9th place in the Landesliga Südwest and has achieved three wins, no defeats and two draws in the last five games. They have scored 45 goals in this season and have been able to defend 61. They are 46 points behind the leaders Bayern München. Their last game ended with a 4:0 defeat against Union Berlin. In the last five games, they have achieved three wins, no defeats and two draws.
